Absurd mandate challenged yet again

The American Family Association has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services. Click here for the story. I am ecstatic the AFA has decided to challenge this unconstitutional mandate. I do not believe the courts have authority to overturn the law. That is a power reserved to Congress by Article I, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution. However, my hope is the court which tries the case will rule the mandate is a violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution, which guarantees freedom of religious practice. Also, I desire the court to rule the AFA shall not be obligated nor forced to obey the mandate.

  1. I'm so glad Liberty Institute is challenging, yet again, an unconstitutional law. I hope they win this and that people will follow their example.
    I know Hobby Lobby is in a similar law suit. I pray that they will win, too.
